Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to deliver an A+ customer experience in the alterations department. You will welcome and service customers, take appointments, press garments, and ensure items are ready for pickup.

Responsibilities include managing customer flow with store systems, meeting service vows, and promoting alterations services. You will work under the Store Manager and support inventory and checkout processes as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers via in person, phone, or online chats and resolve issues with friendly, clear communication.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience.
• Meet service vows and complete operational tasks.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and escalate when needed.
• Explain how alterations contribute to fit and event goals.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and dress code.
• Greet and escort customers to alterations and ensure appointments.
• Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise.
• Inspect garments before delivery to customer.
• Build relationships to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist with inventory and special orders, pickups, and quality control.
