Job summary

David's Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support the Alterations department and deliver an A+ customer experience. The CSR reports to the Store Manager and may welcome and service customers, make appointments, answer phones, press garments, and ensure items are ready for pickup.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers across in-person, phone, and chat channels with a five-star service mindset.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and service quality.
• Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers.
• Explain alterations and personalization options to customers.
• Maintain store standards and dress code; escort customers to alterations.
• Press, steam, and spot-clean merchandise; ensure quality before delivery.
• Support inventory with special orders and pickups; process transactions accurately at cash wrap.
• Escalate issues to Alterations Manager when needed.
• Keep alterations room clean and organized; perform duties as directed by management.
