Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join the Alterations department. You will welcome customers, answer questions, schedule appointments, and help ensure items are ready for pickup with a five-star service mindset.

In this role you will press, steam and inspect garments, support inventory, handle transactions accurately, and collaborate with the Alterations Manager to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with enthusiasm and adapt communication to meet needs; resolve conflicts.
• Use systems to manage customer flow to deliver five-star service.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Press, steam, and inspect garments to ensure quality.
• Escort customers to alterations and schedule appointments.
• Maintain store standards and organize alterations room.
• Perform transactions accurately and assist with inventory tasks.
• Escalate issues to Alterations Manager when needed.
