Job summary

David’s Bridal is hiring an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support the Alterations department and deliver an A+ customer experience. The CSR reports to the Store Manager and may welcome customers, take appointments, answer phones, press garments, and prepare items for pickup.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of retail experience, and may benefit from sewing skills and POS experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store preferred.
• Some sewing experience is helpful for alterations.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and online chats.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and deliver five‑star service.
• Meet service vows and assist with alterations planning and customer needs.
• Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers simultaneously.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and appearance for a flawless shopping experience.
• Escort customers to alterations and assist with appointments.
• Press, steam, and spot-clean merchandise as needed.
• Assist with inventory tasks and store management duties as assigned.
