Job summary

David's Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to provide an exceptional A+ customer experience in the Alterations department. You will welcome customers, take appointments, press garments, and ensure items are prepared for pickup while maintaining high store standards.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, managing flow with POS systems, promoting alterations services, and collaborating with leadership to address issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over phone, chats and in person, adapting style to suit customers by problem solving.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Meet all service vows including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers, including operational tasks.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once and address concerns with confidence.
• Explain how alterations can complement the dress in partnership with Alterations.
• Promote all alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and promotional readiness for a flawless shopping experience.
• Maintain dress code standards as required.
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments and ensure items are ready.
• Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise and ensure pristine condition before delivery.
