Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to deliver an A+ customer experience. You will welcome customers in person, over the phone or virtually, schedule alterations, press garments, and ensure items are ready for pickup, working closely with the Alterations Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store (preferred).
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or virtually and adapt style to solve problems.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five‑star experience.
• Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There with operational checklist tasks.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and escalate issues when needed.
• Explain how alterations enhance the dress and partner with Alterations.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain clean, organized store standards and promotional readiness.
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments.
• Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise; inspect garments before delivery.
• Build long-term relationships to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist inventory with special orders and pickups; ensure quality standards.
• Support cash wrap processes and accurate transactions.
• Seek help from Alterations Manager to resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean alterations room and perform duties as assigned.
