Job summary

David’s Bridal seeks an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to deliver an exceptional customer experience in the alterations department. You will welcome customers in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats, solving problems and guiding them through alterations and pick-ups.

Responsibilities include pressing garments, ensuring items are ready for pickup, and promoting personalization options while upholding store standards and a five-star service commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store preferred.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm across phone, virtual chats, and in person; adapt communication to solve problems.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments and ensure items are ready for pickup.
• Maintain store standards and dress code compliance; keep alterations area clean and organized.
• Assist Alterations Manager with issue resolution when needed.
