Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to provide a superior experience for customers. You will welcome shoppers, answer phones, schedule alterations, and partner with the Alterations team to ensure timely pick-ups.

The CSR will press garments, maintain a clean, organized store, handle transactions, and promote alterations services. You will report to the Store Manager and play a key role in delivering Five-Star Service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree is required.
• 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers via phone, virtual chats and in person with enthusiasm.
• Manage customer flow using all systems to deliver five-star service.
• Meet service vows and complete operational checklists.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and address concerns.
• Explain alterations and how services can improve the dress.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and ensure a flawless shopping experience.
• Greet and escort customers to alterations for appointments.
• Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise.
• Handle transactions accurately at the cash wrap.
• Escalate issues to Alterations Manager when needed.
• Maintain a clean alterations room.
• Perform duties as assigned by store management.
