Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to provide an exceptional customer experience in-store, over the phone, and via virtual channels. You will welcome customers, manage appointments, press garments, and ensure items are ready for pickup while promoting alterations services.

The role reports to the Store Manager and requires strong communication, problem solving, and multitasking to support five-star service and a seamless alterations process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with a computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in person, by phone, or online and resolve issues with empathy.
• Manage customer flow using store systems to deliver five-star service.
• Prepare customers through appointments, prompts, and attention to service vows.
• Escalate issues to leadership when needed and support alterations team.
• Promote alterations services and personalize options.
• Press garments and ensure readiness for pickup.
• Maintain clean, organized alterations area and adhere to dress code.
• Assist with inventory, special orders, and pickup processing.
• Process transactions accurately at cash wrap and operate POS.
• Collaborate with Alterations Manager to resolve issues.
