Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to welcome customers, schedule fittings, answer phones, press garments, and ensure items are ready for pickups. You will work under the Store Manager to contribute to a five-star customer experience.

The role emphasizes problem solving, using store systems to manage customer flow, promoting alterations services, and maintaining a clean, organized space. Retail experience and POS familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment.
• Sewing experience is helpful but not required.
• Prior experience with a computerized POS system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in person, over the phone, and online chats with friendly enthusiasm.
• Schedule and coordinate alterations appointments; assist with fittings and pickups.
• Press garments (steam/press) and ensure items are ready for pickup.
• Maintain clean, organized store and alterations area and uphold dress code standards.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options to customers.
• Assist with inventory and transactions at the cash wrap with accuracy.
