Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (part-time) to deliver an exceptional experience for customers seeking alterations and personalization. You will greet customers, manage appointments, answer phones, and assist with garment pressing and pickup preparation.

You will work closely with the Store Manager, supporting inventory, checkout accuracy, and collaboration with the alterations team to ensure five-star service standards across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store preferred.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers across phone, chat, and in-person interactions with friendly, solution-focused service.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star experiences.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options to customers.
• Maintain store standards and dress code; ensure accurate transactions and checkout processes.
• Escort customers to alterations, oversee garment pressing/finishing, and verify quality before delivery.
• Build relationships to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty; assist with inventory and special orders as needed.
