Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to deliver an exceptional customer experience in our alterations department. You’ll welcome customers, schedule appointments, answer phones, press garments, and ensure items are ready for pickup.

The role involves maintaining store standards, promoting alterations services, and collaborating with leadership to resolve issues while providing a welcoming, five-star experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty stores preferred.
• Sewing experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience with a computerized POS system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm in person, on the phone, or via chat.
• Manage customer flow and ensure a five-star service experience.
• Explain alterations options and promote services and personalization.
• Maintain store standards and assist with checkout processes.
• Escort customers to alteration appointments and ensure timely pickups.
• Support inventory and assist leadership in resolving customer issues.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Retail experience (1-2 years) in apparel or specialty store

Sewing experience helpful

Experience with computerized POS system
