HMSHost is seeking a Manager I (MGRI) at JFK IAT to oversee QSR-style restaurant operations, ensuring cleanliness, staffing, and high standards. You will manage opening/closing, supervise staff, assist in hiring, and maintain safety and health compliance.

The position reports to the GM/Operations leadership and requires flexible shifts across opening, peak periods, and closing times. On-site role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents; converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Open, daily, and closing procedures per company policies.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of associates within the unit.
• Assist in interviewing and input hiring decisions to the GM.
• Schedule preparation and ensuring shifts are covered.
• Ensure mandated rest breaks and meal periods are taken.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling policies.
• Follow health, safety and HACCP procedures; report safety concerns.
• Place orders, receive goods, and process invoices.
• Maintain current contact information for associates.
