Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I (MGRI) to assist branch management in tactically executing QSR or similar restaurant operations at an airport location. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards using prescribed policies.

The MGRI will perform opening, daily and closing procedures, supervise associates, participate in hiring decisions, schedule shifts, and maintain equipment, safety, and cash handling procedures to support a busy

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of food & beverage, cash handling and customer service experience.
At least 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
Ability to read, write and converse with customers in English.

Responsibilities

Opens, runs daily and closes procedures per company policies.
Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a unit.
Participates in interviewing and hiring decisions, schedules shifts, and ensures coverage.
Maintains cleanliness, stocking and visual appeal of displays and ensures equipment is in working order.
Handles cash transactions following HMSHost policies and ensures cash security.
Ensures health and safety guidelines are followed and reports safety concerns to management.
Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices and maintains current contact information for associates.
