Job summary

Avolta AG at BWI Airport is seeking a Manager I (MGRI) to help run daily QSR-style restaurant operations. You’ll keep the restaurant clean, staffed and ready for business, applying company policies to guide decisions.

You’ll open, run and close shifts, supervise team members, participate in hiring decisions, manage schedules, ensure safety standards, and supervise cash handling and stock control. This role reports to the GM or Operations Director, works varied hours on site, with health

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit or group of restaurants.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring decisions and advise the GM on staffing changes.
• Assign work tasks, prepare schedules, and ensure shifts are covered.
• Ensure mandated rest breaks and meal periods are observed by all staff.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling policies to maintain security.
