Job summary

HMSHost at MSP Airport is seeking a Manager I (MGRI) to support branch management in QSR-like restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, staffed, ready for business, and runs to high standards using prescribed policies.

The role requires leadership of associates, scheduling, compliance with HACCP and health guidelines, and interaction with customers while aligning with company policies. On-site role with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse confidently with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit or group of restaurants.
• Participates in hiring input and recommends promotions or terminations to the GM.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures mandated rest breaks and meal periods are taken.
• Keeps display areas clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
• Maintains equipment and follows cash handling policies.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports concerns to the GM.
