Job summary

HMSHost at BWI Airport seeks a Manager I to assist branch management in tactically executing QSR restaurant operations. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operated to high standards using prescribed policies and procedures.

The MGRI will open, run daily tasks, supervise associates, participate in hiring and scheduling, and ensure compliance with wellness, safety, and cash-handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years food and beverage experience
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents, and converse with customers

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates
• Assists in hiring and scheduling; monitors shift coverage
• Manages display areas, equipment, and cash handling per policies
• Ensures wellness and safety procedures are followed and reports concerns
• Places orders and receives goods; maintains associate contact information
