Job summary

Avolta Newark Airport is seeking a Manager I to assist branch management in tactically executing QSR restaurant operations, ensuring the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards.

You will supervise day-to-day activities, participate in hiring decisions, arrange schedules, and ensure rest breaks, safety and cash handling procedures are followed. The role reports to the GM or multi-unit manager with a rotating on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years in food and beverage, cash handling and customer service experience.
• Requires minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Open, daily and closing procedures per company policies.
• Supervise day-to-day activities of associates within the unit.
• Contribute to hiring decisions and schedule preparation.
• Assign tasks, prepare schedules and ensure shifts are covered.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper display of the unit.
