Job summary

HMSHost in Tampa is seeking a Manager I to assist branch management in QSR-style restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, staffed, and operates to high standards, applying company policies to guide decisions.

Open/close procedures, supervision of day-to-day activities, scheduling, hiring input, cash handling, safety compliance, and timely order processing are core responsibilities. On-site shifts cover various days/hours at the Tampa Airport F&B location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, write and understand instructions and policy documents, and converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per company policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a unit or group of locations.
• Assists in hiring decisions and provides input on terminations, promotions or status changes.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are fully staffed.
• Ensures mandated breaks and meals are taken by associates.
• Maintains clean and visually appealing display areas and ensures equipment is in good order.
• Operates cash register and handles transactions per cash policies; safeguards cash.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports safety concerns to the GM.
• Performs Health and Safety activities as specified in the Health and Safety guide.
• Places orders, receives goods, and processes invoices.
• Keeps current contact information for associates in the restaurant.
