Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to assist in tactically executing QSR or similar restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, staffed, and operates at high standards, using prescribed policies to guide decisions.

You will supervise day-to-day activities, participate in hiring decisions, and help manage schedules while maintaining compliance with wellness, safety, and cash-handling procedures at the airport location.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years food and beverage experience including cash handling.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant/kitchen.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Opens, runs, and closes restaurant operations per policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of staff and shifts.
• Assists in hiring input and performance decisions to GM.
• Prepares schedules and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures mandated breaks and meal periods are followed.
• Maintains clean, well-stocked display areas and equipment.
• Handles cash/register operations and secures cash handling.
• Ensures health and safety procedures and reports concerns.
