HMSHost is seeking a Manager I for the Pittsburgh International Airport location to support branch management in tactically executing QSR or similar restaurant operations. The manager ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards using prescribed policies.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a unit.
• Participates in interviewing and hiring processes and scheduling.
• Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules and ensures shifts are covered.
• Enforces mandated breaks and meal periods.
• Maintains cleanliness and visual appeal of display areas.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order and manages cash handling.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports concerns.
