HMSHost at Honolulu Airport F&B is seeking a Manager I to assist branch management in executing QSR-style operations. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, staffed, and operates to high standards with established policies and procedures.

The Manager I opens, closes, and oversees day-to-day activities, participates in hiring decisions, schedules labor, and ensures compliance with health and safety guidelines while maintaining cash controls and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years of food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Requires ability to read, understand, and communicate instructions and policy documents, and converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per company policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a unit.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring input, and recommends promotions or terminations to GM.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are staffed.
• Ensures mandated rest breaks and meal periods are taken by associates.
• Maintains clean, stocked, visually appealing display areas and proper equipment.
• Operates cash register and handles transactions according to cash policies.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports concerns to GM.
• Performs Health and Safety activities as per policy.
• Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices.
• Keeps current contact information for all restaurant associates.
