Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I (MGRI) at the Boston Airport location to assist branch management in tactically executing QSR or similar restaurant operations. The MGRI ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards.

Essential duties include opening, daily and closing procedures, supervising associates, assisting in hiring, preparing schedules, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Must be able to read, understand instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and converse comfortably with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Assists the AGM/GM in managing by supervising day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit.
• Participates in the interview process, provides input in hiring, recommends termination or progression to the GM.
• Assigns work tasks and activities, assists in preparing schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports safety concerns to the GM.
• Places orders for units, receives goods, processes invoices.
• Ensures current contact information for all associates.
