Job summary

Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Agent in our Ground Handling Department. The role involves assisting passengers with boarding/disembarking, operating the Jetway, and guiding/parking aircraft.

Training will be provided, and the job requires lifting up to 70 pounds and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Successful candidates will complete the Customer Service Agent training course, meet company goals, and provide excellent service to passengers and airline partners.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of training course

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Proof of high school or GED completion

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
• Monitor computerized passenger boarding
• Assist customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors
• Change customer flight itinerary and seat assignments as required
• Operate the Jetway
• Load and unload baggage and cargo
• Guide and park aircraft
• Perform cabin maintenance tasks
• Work as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives
