Qualifications

  • FAA background check for unescorted access privileges (SIDA) if relevant.
  • Ability to secure airport badges if relevant.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background/fingerprinting.
  • Legal to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes and sells air travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders.
  • Assists with passenger check-in and load control.
  • Translates government policies for domestic and international travel or cargo shipments.
  • Meet and dispatch aircraft on schedule.
  • Assist troubled passengers and customers.
  • Protect agency assets and sales.
  • Ensure safe travel.
  • Perform duties with motor skills.
  • Handle multiple duties within tight time frames.
  • Be self-motivated with minimal supervision.
  • Respond to safety and emergency situations.
  • Follow internal/external guidelines and procedures.
  • May be required to drive and operate air stairs for boarding and deplaning.
  • May perform Passenger Operation control functions including air-to-ground communications and Tower functions.
  • Work may be in various weather conditions.
  • Shifts may include irregular and/or extended hours, weekends and holidays.
