Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or global equivalent.
• Bilingual language competencies required in some locations.
• Relevant valid driver’s license as required by local government.
• FAA background checks for unescorted access to airport security areas (SIDA) if relevant.
• Must be able to obtain airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges, if relevant.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background checks as required.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells air travel to the visiting public or freight forwarders.
• Assists with passenger check-in and load acceptance.
• Translates government regulations and requirements for home and worldwide journey or shipment.
• Meets and dispatches plane within set up times.
• Assists distressed passengers and customers.
• Protects agency belongings and sales.
• Provides for secure journey.
• Possesses the physical capability to perform diverse task-related obligations.
• Performs multiple responsibilities within a constrained term.
• Is self‑motivated and requires minimal supervision.
• Responds and assists during security and emergency situations.
• Follows internal/external regulations and procedures.
• May be required to operate air stairs for different aircraft during boarding and deplaning.
• May perform Passenger Operation control capabilities with air-to-ground communication and Tower features.
• Depending on airport region this role may vary with weather conditions.
• Shifts may include irregular and/or extended hours, weekends and vacations.
