Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college enrollment preferred.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English; bilingual skills may be required in some locations.
• Valid driver's license as required by local authorities.
• Passes FAA background checks for access to security areas (SIDA).
• Ability to obtain airport authority or U.S. Customs security badges.
• Able to work irregular and prolonged hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Works on a regular and punctual schedule.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells international and domestic travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders.
• Provides assistance with passenger check‑in and cargo handling.
• Interprets government regulations and requirements for domestic and international air or cargo shipments.
• Assists with aircraft dispatch and gate procedures.
• Provides assistance to distressed passengers and customers.
• Protects company assets and revenue.
• Ensures safe travel for passengers and crew.
• Uses motor skills to operate equipment in various aircraft types.
• Performs multiple tasks within limited time periods with organizational skills.
• Operates independently with minimal supervision.
• Responds to and assists during protective and emergency situations.
• Follows internal and external policies and procedures.
• May drive and operate aircraft stairs for various aircraft types.
• Responsible for overall performance in the customer service area and may supervise other personnel.
• May perform Passenger Operations functions and air‑to‑ground communication in addition to tower duties.

Education
