Job summary

B3H is seeking an Aircrew Training Specialist to support AMC flying squadrons by managing training records, readiness tracking, schedules, and reporting. The role covers non-flying squadron functions essential to aircrew readiness and mission continuity.

The position operates within a DoD-focused environment, requiring coordination with HARM/SARM and adherence to AF guidance. Contingent on contract award, B3H offers opportunities in a pivotal training support role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred in aviation operations, aviation management, training, education, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a flying squadron, training office, HARM/SARM, aviation resource management, or comparable aviation operations support environment.
• Experience using GTIMS, ARMS, or equivalent training/readiness systems.
• Experience maintaining gradebooks, records, training status, or readiness reporting.
• Ability to manage recurring reports and suspense-driven requirements.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with squadron leadership, scheduling, and external agencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database-driven reporting tool.

Responsibilities

• Update data in GTIMS or future equivalent systems to GTIMS, and locally developed computer database systems as required.
• Interface with HARM and SARM personnel to update ARMS or future equivalent systems as required.
• Build, review, and update student/permanent party records and grade books per AFMAN guidance.
• Coordinate class and exam schedules with scheduling and external agencies to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for required trainings.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly gradebook checks.
• Provide daily tracking of upgrades and continuation training and weekly summaries for leadership.
• Assist in development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
• Generate reports such as OST Training inputs, AF Form 2096, NMR letters, STRP briefs, and training plans.
