Job summary

B3H is seeking an Aircrew Training Specialist to manage training records, readiness tracking, schedules, and reporting for AMC squadrons. The role supports non-flying squadron functions essential to aircrew readiness and mission continuity.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with HARM/SARM, maintain accurate grade books, and generate recurring reports while collaborating with scheduling and leadership to maximize training opportunities in accordance with AFIs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred in aviation operations, aviation management, training, education, business, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a flying squadron, training office, HARM/SARM, aviation resource management, or comparable aviation operations support environment
• Experience using GTIMS, ARMS, or equivalent training/readiness systems
• Experience maintaining gradebooks, records, training status, or readiness reporting
• Ability to manage recurring reports and suspense-driven requirements
• Ability to coordinate effectively with squadron leadership, scheduling, and external agencies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database-driven reporting tool

Responsibilities

• Update data in GTIMS or future equivalent systems to GTIMS and locally developed computer database systems as required.
• Interface with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) and Squadron Aviation Resource Management (SARM) personnel to update ARMS or future equivalent systems as required.
• Build, review, and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per AFMAN11-202V1 and AFMAN11-2MDSV1, associated MAJCOM Installation supplements, and local guidance.
• Coordinate schedule of classes and exams with scheduling and external agencies to ensure crew members are scheduled for required trainings.
• Perform individual gradebook checks of squadron personnel training and ancillary training requirements.
• Coordinate with scheduling office to maximize training opportunities in line with AFIs.
• Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training and weekly summaries for leadership.
• Assist in development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
• Generate monthly/quarterly reports and training plans as required.
