Job summary

B3H is seeking an Aircrew Training Specialist to support AMC flying squadrons by managing training records, readiness tracking, schedules, and recurring training reporting. This role also supports non-flying squadron functions essential to aircrew readiness and mission continuity, with a focus on GTIMS/ARMS data integrity.

Ideal candidates will have experience with GTIMS/ARMS, strong record-keeping skills, and the ability to coordinate with squadron leadership and external agencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree preferred in aviation operations, aviation management, training, education, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a flying squadron, training office, HARM/SARM, aviation resource management, or comparable aviation operations support environment.
• Experience using GTIMS, ARMS, or equivalent training/readiness systems.
• Experience maintaining gradebooks, records, training status, or readiness reporting.
• Ability to manage recurring reports and suspense-driven requirements.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with squadron leadership, scheduling, and external agencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database-driven reporting tool.

Responsibilities

• Update data in GTIMS or future equivalent systems and locally developed databases as required.
• Interface with HARM and SARM personnel to update ARMS as required.
• Build, review, and update student records, folders, and grade books per AFMAN guidance.
• Coordinate schedule of classes and exams with internal teams and external agencies to ensure crew members are scheduled for required training.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly gradebook checks of squadron personnel training and ancillary training requirements.
• Coordinate with scheduling office to maximize training opportunities IAW unit leadership guidance.
• Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training and weekly summaries for the operations leadership.
• Assist in the development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
• Generate reports and forms such as OST Training inputs, AF Form 2096, NMR letters, STRP briefings, and training plans.
