Job summary

Nisga'a Tek, a defense services company, seeks a Scheduling Specialist to manage dynamic aircraft/ training schedules in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate with leaders and specialists to ensure currency, progression, and mission readiness.

Responsibilities include building multi-day schedules, tracking commitments, and publishing scheduling data. Requires attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly to changes with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to think critically and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with training officers, NCOs, SARM specialists, UDM, and DO to arrange schedules meeting priorities.
• Build long- and short-range shift schedules to cover aircrew, instructors, evaluators, and support staff.
• Coordinate with senior squadron leadership on a daily/weekly basis.
• Coordinate with simulator contractors for simulator events as required.
• Track crewmember leave, TDY, and medical appointments and training.
• Publish weekly/daily scheduling data and reports per local policy.
