Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Air Operations Agent I to coordinate day-to-day international air import/export shipments from the USA. You will work with customers to define requirements, prepare profitable quotations, and manage data entry, bookings, and regulatory filings in CargoWise.

You will track shipments, resolve issues, and collaborate with sales teams and international partners to meet schedules and KPIs.

• 0-2 years freight forwarding experience preferred.
• Basic math and geography skills.

Responsibilities

• Qualify shipping requirements with customers and gather necessary details for shipment quotation.
• Prepare profitable quotations accurately.
• Process shipments in Cargowise, including data entry, scheduling, AES entry and bookings.
• Coordinate day-to-day air import/export operations and review orders.
• Track delays, damages, and issues, and resolve customer problems.
• Manage tracking to ensure shipments move as scheduled and update systems.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with cartage agents and international partners.
• Communicate issues to customers, partners, and stations as needed.
• Ensure SOP adherence and KPI/ policy compliance.
• Assist with billing and other duties as required.
