Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Union City, GA is seeking an International Operations Agent to coordinate the day-to-day air export of international freight from the USA, handling customer requests and ensuring on-time performance.

You will prepare profitable quotations in Cargowise, enter data, book airlines, track shipments, communicate delays or issues to customers and partners, and support billing and documentation to meet company KPIs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years industry experience in export/import operations.
• ITAR and Dangerous Goods regulations preferred.
• CargoWise experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced working environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organizing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day air export of products; review orders and documents.
• Work with customers to qualify shipping requirements and obtain necessary details for shipment quotation and operation.
• Prepare profitable quotations accurately.
• Complete shipment process in Cargowise, including data entry, pickup/delivery scheduling, AES entry, airline bookings, routing and milestones updates.
• Coordinate day-to-day air export of shipments and track progress.
• Track and communicate delays, damages, problems, and resolve issues.
• Ensure shipments are billed within guidelines and timelines.
• Support cross-functional teams and partner with international agents.
