Job summary

Motorola Solutions' Silvus Technologies seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with US Air Force requirements, reporting to Applications Engineering. You will work with Engineering and Business Development to demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments.

This role involves up to 50% travel for field tests and customer engagements, with a remote option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2–5 years relevant experience.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols, or tactical communications systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment and lab testing tools.
• Prior security clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Support technical planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Collaborate to leverage testing data and verify solution architectures.
• Align with Business Development to meet strategic priorities.
• Assist in building demonstrations for airborne and expeditionary networking needs.
• Conduct market research for potential integrations with industry partners.
• Engage with Air Force program offices and labs to translate feedback into roadmap inputs.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and demonstrations.
