Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USAF requirements. You will work with Applications Engineering to demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments.

The role offers a remote work option depending on location, up to 50% travel for field tests and customer engagements, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to shape roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Network Engineering, CS, or 5+ years defense experience.
• U.S. SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizenship required for government contracts.
• Experience with SDRs or tactical communications systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USAF priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations and evaluations.
• Collaborate to validate architectures with benchmarking data.
• Support BD with technical needs and roadmaps.
• Build and present technical demos for airborne and edge networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses.
• Perform market research on potential integrations.
• Engage with DoD program offices and AFRL leads.
• Gather field feedback to shape product roadmap.
• Travel up to 50% to field sites.
