Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USAF requirements. You will work with engineering and BD teams to demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments, with up to 50% travel and a potential for remote work depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of demonstrated experience; OR HS diploma with 5+ years in technical/defense roles.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical comms.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Analyze US Air Force priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Support planning, network configuration, and field trials.
• Collaborate with Eng and BD teams to verify architectures.
• Assist in building technical demos for airborne, edge, and field deployments.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and market research.
• Travel 25–50% to customer sites and labs.
