Job summary

Motorola Solutions' Silvus Technologies seeks a Business Development Engineer, US Air Force, to bridge RF capabilities with DoD customer requirements, supporting acquisition stakeholders and field demonstrations.

You will work with Applications Engineering and BD to verify interoperability of StreamCaster MANET radios across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments; up to 50% travel with a remote option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years in systems engineering, technical BD, or defense tech roles; OR HS diploma with 5+ years.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols, or tactical comms systems.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing US Air Force priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support planning, network configuration, and field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound with benchmarking data.
• Maintain alignment with BD team to support technical needs and priorities.
• Assist in building and presenting technical demonstrations for airborne and expeditionary networks.
• Contribute input for RFI/RFP responses and testing of end-to-end architectures.
• Perform market research for integrations with industry partners.
