Job summary

Axon seeks an Account Executive for its Air program to partner with public safety agencies in the Northeast. This remote role requires 60% travel, ownership of the full sales cycle, and deep technical understanding of drones, cloud and virtualization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a SaaS Account Executive role.
• Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organization and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel 60%+ within territory.
• Deep understanding of drones, cloud and virtualization tech.
• End-to-end sales process experience: prospecting, discovery, closing.
• Ability to own multi-state territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep technical understanding of Axon’s Air products to sell into domestic law enforcement agencies within territory.
• Partner with the broader Axon sales team as a functional expert on the Air program.
• Leverage alerts, RFPs and other sources to generate leads and pursue opportunities.
• Be customer centric—develop contact networks and relationships to drive customer happiness.
• Develop and execute account strategy with the team to deliver stronger value propositions.
• Make forecast predictions, update management, and feed marketing with competitive insights.
• Track customer activity in Salesforce and other systems to drive account strategy and opportunities.
