Job summary

GitLab Inc. is seeking an AI Transformation Owner to drive the end-to-end AI agenda for the field organization. You will translate AI capabilities into enablement roadmaps, define field use cases, and partner with product and engineering to pilot and scale AI solutions.

This hands-on role reports to the VP, Enablement & AI and operates in an all-remote environment. Responsibilities include owning the AI enablement roadmap, delivering value through field use cases, building field champion

Qualifications

• Several years of enablement, sales operations, or related GTM experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Direct experience evaluating, piloting, or deploying AI tools with technical understanding and business value.
• Proven ability to work closely with product and engineering to translate field needs into technical requirements.
• Self-sufficiency to scope projects and move work forward with limited direction.
• Strong organization to manage multiple roadmaps, use cases, ops, and governance streams.
• Innovative mindset with curiosity and ability to separate opportunity from hype.
• Enablement or sales background showing how AI augments field motions.
• Alignment with GitLab values and ability to thrive in an all-remote environment.

Responsibilities

• AI Enablement Roadmap: Own and evolve the roadmap for AI-enabled initiatives across the field.
• AI Field Use Cases: Identify, scope, and execute high-value use cases with defined success metrics.
• AI Field Champions: Build relationships to drive adoption and track usage and impact.
• Ops Transformation Plan: Design scalable processes to turn pilots into repeatable ops.
• AI Governance: Lead standards for data use, risk review, and policy-aligned tool adoption.
