Job summary

Voice Systems Engineering, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Head of AI Enablement & Transformation to consolidate and govern AI initiatives across the company. You will prototype generative AI agents, design guardrails, and enable non-technical teams to adopt AI responsibly and effectively.

You will lead a cross-functional effort in a remote-first environment, owning the stack, access controls, and a scorecard of AI outcomes. Strong collaboration with Legal, HR, and IT is required.

Qualifications

• Track record of building and shipping agentic AI systems or LLM-powered tools used by people.
• At least 7 years in technology/operations/product/consulting with 2+ years in applied generative AI.
• Fluency with prompting, agents, tool use, evaluation, retrieval, and major model providers.
• Coding ability to prototype and integrate via APIs.
• Experience rolling out AI across non-technical workforce with measurable gains.
• Establishing governance or data-handling policies in live environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI capabilities: prototypes, agents, evaluation frameworks, and deployment pipelines for non-engineers.
• Lead hands-on enablement across the company with playbooks, office hours, and AI champions.
• Redesign core workflows around AI possibilities in partnership with business teams.
• Own the AI scorecard: publish weekly metrics and explain changes.
• Decide tooling stack: evaluate models, platforms, and vendors; avoid tool sprawl.
• Build guardrails: autonomous model governance, data classification, and policy alignment.
• Manage use-case pipeline from intake to rollout and maintenance.
• Protect quality: validate outputs against sources and retrain after updates.
