Job summary

Voice Systems Engineering, Inc. seeks a Head of AI Enablement & Transformation to consolidate ongoing AI work into a single, governable program.

You will lead practical, hands-on efforts to prototype and ship AI agents and automation, while guiding non-technical colleagues to adopt safe, effective AI tools company-wide. You will own the stack and guardrails, drive a pragmatic, evidence-based adoption plan, and report weekly on progress and impact across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building and shipping agentic AI systems and automations.
• 7+ years in technology/operations roles with 2+ years of applied generative AI.
• Fluency with the current LLM ecosystem: prompting, agents, tool use, evaluation, retrieval, workflow orchestration and major model providers.
• Scripting or coding ability sufficient to prototype, integrate via APIs, and troubleshoot without waiting on an engineering team.
• Demonstrated success rolling out AI or automation across a non-technical workforce with measurable gains.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI capabilities: prototypes, agents, evaluation frameworks, and safe deployment pipelines.
• Lead hands-on enablement across the company: weekly sessions, playbooks, and AI champions network.
• Redesign core workflows around AI possibilities in partnership with teams.
• Own the AI scorecard: publish weekly results and target updates.
• Decide the tooling stack: evaluate models/platforms, run PoCs, and manage tool sprawl.
• Build guardrails first: graduated autonomy, prompt traceability, data-classification policies.
• Manage the use-case pipeline from intake to rollout and retirement.
• Protect quality: validate outputs against sources and re-test after updates.
• Look after the team: scorecard metric on whether AI reduces workload or increases capability.
