Job summary

Voice Systems Engineering, Inc. seeks a hands-on Head of AI Enablement & Transformation to consolidate and scale AI across the enterprise. This remote-first role leads tooling, guardrails, and an enablement network of AI champions, with accountability for results across ~45 non-technical users.

You will prototype agents, automate workflows, and shape the program's governance and adoption trajectory. As a senior builder, you will own the stack, vendor relationships, and the scorecard, delivering

Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping agentic AI systems within the last 12 months.
• At least 7 years in technology, operations, or transformation roles, including at least 2 years of applied generative AI work.
• Fluency with prompting, agents, tool use, evaluation, retrieval, and workflow orchestration.
• Scripting or coding ability to prototype and integrate via APIs.
• Proven success rolling out AI across a non-technical workforce with measurable gains.
• Experience establishing governance and data-handling policies in live environments.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills with both engineers and non-technical staff.
• Ability to own a capability end-to-end without a reporting team.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate ongoing AI work into a single, governed program.
• Own tooling stack, guardrails, skills library, and the scorecard.
• Lead hands-on enablement across the company with AI champions.
• Prototype and ship AI agents, automations and deployable tooling for non-engineers.
• Publish weekly scores and set targets for AI initiatives.
• Decide tooling stack and manage build-vs-buy decisions.
• Build guardrails and graduated autonomy for agents with clear provenance.
• Manage use-case pipeline from intake to rollout and retirement.
• Protect output quality and ensure necessary human oversight.
• Look after the team with accountability and adoption metrics.
