Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sales Strategy & Enablement Director to lead the AI vision and roadmap for the Sales and SBO organizations. The role focuses on enterprise AI governance, pilot coordination, and ensuring AI capabilities enhance the seller experience across the enterprise.

The position requires strategic leadership, deep knowledge of AI tools, and strong collaboration with Sales Analytics, Technology, and field teams to define metrics, investments, and implementation plans for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of strategy, transformation or senior operations.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience designing, implementing, or advising on AI solutions with demonstrated ability to evaluate AI use cases and guide others.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate multi-year strategic visions and translate them into actionable roadmaps with milestones.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise AI and agentic technologies and experience integrating with sales tools.
• Proven ability to partner with senior sales leadership and drive change in a matrixed org.
• Experience in change management frameworks such as Prosci or ADKAR.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Drives the CAI Sales and SBO AI vision and roadmap forward through the delivery system, tracking progress and maturity.
• Serves as the designated AI Ambassador for the Sales and SBO organizations in enterprise AI governance networks.
• Guides teams in developing and implementing AI solutions with proper foundations.
• Leads readiness and sequencing for new AI capabilities before build or pilot phases.
• Contributes to executive communications and change narratives for sales leadership.
• Captures seller feedback to inform vision-level roadmap decisions.
• Defines success criteria and ROI-focused transformation metrics.
• Drives tool rationalization and consolidation across the sales stack.
• Creates investment roadmaps and budgeting visibility for AI initiatives.
