Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sales Strategy & Enablement Director to lead the AI vision and roadmap for the Sales and SBO organizations. This role acts as the AI Ambassador, coordinating with enterprise AI governance, pilots, and technology evaluation across sales enablement platforms.

The Director partners with Sales Analytics, Process Design & Improvement, Technology, and SBO teams to converge AI capabilities, shape the seller experience, and drive ROI through structured roadmaps and milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of strategy, transformation or senior operations experience.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience designing, implementing, or advising on AI solutions with demonstrated ability to evaluate AI use cases and guide others on AI implementation.
• Proven ability to develop multi-year strategic visions and actionable roadmaps with milestones.
• Deep hands-on expertise with enterprise AI and agentic technologies including Claude and Copilot, and related tools in the sales ecosystem.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic partner to senior sales leadership and translate priorities into technology strategy.

Responsibilities

• Drives the AI vision and roadmap for Cox Automotive Sales and SBO, tracking maturity and delivery.
• Serves as AI Ambassador within the enterprise AI governance program.
• Guides teams in designing and implementing AI solutions for sales enablement and related platforms.
• Develops evaluation criteria, sequencing, and readiness for new tools entering build or pilot phases.
• Creates governance, measurement frameworks, and investment roadmaps for AI transformation initiatives.
