Job summary

CDW is seeking a category-focused marketer to drive revenue and profitability for a designated product portfolio. You will manage pricing, promotions, and competitive positioning while developing marketing plans and acting as the subject matter expert for your products.

You will forecast sales, align with vendors, maximize co-op funds, and build strong cross-functional relationships to achieve category goals and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5 years in sales/merchandising/product management/category management/marketing OR 9 years of experience in these areas.

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue and profitability for the assigned product category.
• Manage product, promotion, price, competitive positioning, and sales awareness.
• Maintain expert knowledge in the product portfolio as the subject matter expert.
• Develop marketing plans for the product portfolio.
• Maximize sales revenue, profit, and vendor co-op and MDF funding for the category.
• Forecast sales volumes and develop category goals; identify opportunities to increase vendor partner sales.
