Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an AI Service Line Lead to define and drive go-to-market strategy for AI services, aligning emerging technologies with market needs and organisational goals.

The role requires leadership across offerings, accelerators, partnerships and reference architectures, shaping senior client engagements and pre-sales activities. This is a senior, strategic leadership position within Version 1.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in defining and implementing AI strategies in leadership or advisory roles.
• Familiar with AI architecture, ML, generative AI, data platforms and related technologies.
• Experience conducting market analysis to identify AI growth opportunities.
• Ability to translate industry trends into actionable strategic decisions.
• Proven ability to collaborate with sales and marketing to develop compelling narratives and collateral.
• Strong history of partnerships with cloud providers and AI vendors.
• Experience enabling delivery teams to prepare for new AI offerings and methodologies.
• Excellent communication to influence senior executives and build consensus around directions.

Responsibilities

• Assess current AI landscape and capabilities to map offerings and partnerships.
• Identify gaps, retirement, refresh or creation opportunities in the AI portfolio.
• Conduct market research on trends, technologies and niche opportunities.
• Stay informed on AI trends and competitive positioning for differentiators.
• Develop an AI GTM vision and strategy with a reference architecture.
• Articulate the why and how behind the strategy aligning with company goals.
• Support early-stage pre-sales conversations and shaping client engagements.
• Participate in solution scoping and proposal development to showcase AI capabilities.
