Job summary

Fortinet seeks an AI Sales Engineer to drive pre-sales activities for AI Security solutions across the region. You will shape GTM strategy, enable regional sales engineers, and lead technical engagements and POCs with enterprise clients.

You will collaborate with partners and internal teams to win opportunities, deploy solutions in customer environments, and evangelize best practices for secure AI deployments. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (EE/CS/DS/IS)
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, including AI focus
• Experience engaging with cloud or AI security engineers and data scientists
• Understanding of core AI technologies: ML, DL, generative AI
• Hands-on Docker and containerized workloads; Kubernetes experience
• Experience deploying production apps on AWS/Azure/GCP
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI Sales Specialist to shape GTM strategy for AI Security solutions in the region
• Enable and train regional Sales Engineers on product capabilities and demos
• Provide technical discovery, architecture deep dives, and POC support throughout the sales cycle
• Assist customers with deployment of AI Security solutions in self-hosted environments
• Maintain demo environments, certifications, and training materials
• Engage partners to impart technical expertise to close opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify, qualify, and close AI Security business
• Lead customer-facing engagements: architecture reviews, integrations, demos, training
• Facilitate post-sales handovers for successful deployments and customer success
• Cultivate relationships with CTOs, CISOs, and AI leaders
• Educate customers on agentic AI best practices and Fortinet leadership in AI security
