Fortinet is seeking an AI Sales Engineer to support technical execution for our AI security solutions. This pre-sales role accelerates adoption of solutions protecting the creation and use of AI apps, including homegrown AI and agentic AI tools.

The role focuses on GTM strategy, enabling regional Sales Engineers, and driving successful outcomes through demos, POCs, and customer engagements. Some travel is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in a technical field (EE, CS, data science, or IS).
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, AI-focused.
• Experience engaging with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and security architects.
• Knowledge of AI tech: ML, DL, generative AI.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes (cloud or on-prem).
• Understanding AI security concepts: access controls, identity, network, EDR, guardrails.
• Experience deploying prod apps on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Mansioni

• Partner with the AI Sales Specialist to shape and execute GTM strategy for AI Security solutions across the region.
• Enable and train regional Sales Engineers on product capabilities and demos.
• Provide technical discovery, architecture deep dives, and POCs across the sales cycle.
• Assist customers with deploying AI Security solutions in self-hosted environments.
• Maintain demo environments and training materials; manage demo certifications and benchmarking.
• Engage partners to equip them to close AI Security opportunities with Fortinet.
