Job summary

Fortinet is seeking an AI Sales Engineer to support pre-sales for AI Security solutions in the United States. The role focuses on shaping GTM strategy, enabling regional sales engineers, and driving successful deployments of Fortinet’s AI security platform.

Ideal candidates hold a technical degree and have 5+ years in technical sales, with hands-on Docker/Kubernetes experience, cloud deployment knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 50% to develop customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, data science, information systems, or related technical field of study

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI Sales Specialist to shape and execute the GTM strategy for AI Security solutions across the region, expanding existing accounts and driving new business.
• Enable and train regional Sales Engineers with current product capabilities and roadmaps, and deliver live demos.
• Provide technical discovery support, architecture deep dives, and POC guidance throughout the sales cycle.
• Assist customers with deployment of AI Security in self-hosted environments.
• Maintain demo environments, certification processes, and training materials.
