Job summary

Fortinet is seeking an AI Sales Engineer to drive adoption of its FortiAIGate AI security platform in the region. You will support GTM strategy with the AI Sales Specialist, enable regional Sales Engineers, and lead technical demonstrations and architecture reviews.

You will manage POCs, assist customers with deployments in self-hosted environments, and foster relationships with CTOs, CISOs, and enterprise AI leaders while traveling up to 50% to grow the AI security business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science, data science, information systems)
• 5+ years of technical sales experience, including AI-related technologies
• Experience engaging with cloud or AI security engineers, data scientists, and AI/ML architects
• Understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized workloads; Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or equivalent)
• Deep understanding of AI security concepts (access controls, identity management, network integration, EDR, red-teaming, guardrails)
• Familiarity with agentic AI tools and AI infrastructure, security implications preferred
• Experience deploying production applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to travel up to 50% to develop customer relationships and opportunities

Responsibilities

• Partner with the AI Sales Specialist to shape and execute the GTM strategy for AI Security solutions across the region
• Enable and train regional Sales Engineers with product capabilities, roadmap, and live demos
• Provide technical discovery, architecture deep dives, and POCs across the sales cycle
• Assist customers with deployment of AI Security solutions in self-hosted environments
• Maintain and manage demo environments, certifications, training materials, and benchmarking
• Engage channel and reseller partners with technical expertise to close AI Security opportunities
• Collaborate with internal sales engineers to identify, qualify, and close AI Security business
• Lead customer-facing engagements including architecture reviews, demonstrations, and technical training
• Facilitate post-sales handovers for successful deployments and ongoing customer success
• Cultivate relationships with CTOs, CISOs, and enterprise AI leaders
• Educate customers on best practices for agentic AI security and secure deployment
